Kimberly Rizzo

Kimberly (Cosentino) Rizzo, age 59, passed away at home on June 24, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones after a 13 month battle with cancer. She was born July 30, 1963 in Chicago IL. She joins her parents Joan and Nick Jacobazzi and brother, Rocco in eternal rest. She is survived by her loving husband, Peter Rizzo of 37 years. daughters Tina (Jonathan) Nikki and Mia Rizzo, and loving grandchildren Colson and Lucas Rizzo.

Kimberly was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as grandma. She had a vivacious personality and always welcomed people with warmth and amazing home cooked meals. She loved to have family and friends surrounding her.

Kimberly was a loving and dedicated sister, truly the matriarch of her family. She is survived by her brothers, John Cosentino, George (Chrissy) Jacobazzi, Anthony Jacobazzi, Nicolas Jacobazzi, Gino (Carolyn) Jacobazzi and many nieces and nephew’s. She loved and cherished each and everyone of them immensely.

Kimberly was hard working and reliable. She ran a successful business, B&L automotive, for 30+ years. She was the brains of the entire operation, bringing everything to the next level. Eventually was able to retire for a short while. Even then, keeping busy helping with her grandchildren full time, while picking up many new hobbies including knitting and sewing in her free time. She loved nature, spending time at the lake, boating, gardening, various arts and crafts and traveling the world. Her favorite activity was cooking, and of course eating. Her warming embrace will be missed by so many. Please join us in celebrating her life: Visitation Thursday, June 29th from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Cumberland Chapels (FRIEL FUNERAL DIRECTORS) 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge. Funeral Services Begin: Friday 9:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home and will proceed to St. Paul of the Cross Church, Park Ridge. Funeral Mass 10:00 A.M.
