Kenneth Wells

Kenneth J. Wells, age 76, passed away on November 28, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife, Leslie A. Wells, and daughters, Kalani Wells (Matt) and Emily Belletire (Josh).

Kenneth is preceded in death by his father, Leo C. Wells, his mother, Vilma Wells, brother Leo “Bucky” C. Wells Jr. , sister Susan A. Wells and brother Richard F. Wells (Jean).

Throughout his life, Kenneth worked in many roles that reflected his strong work ethic and dedication. He began as a shoe salesman, later served as property manager at the Hanohano Hale condominium complex on Oahu Island, HI, and ultimately devoted over 25 years as head building engineer at Cameo Towers in Elmwood Park, IL.

Kenneth also proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he was deployed to Vietnam for eight months. His service was a testament to his courage and commitment.

He will be remembered for his devotion to family, his love of the Northwoods, and the care he showed to all who knew him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his wife, daughters, extended family, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706, from 12:30–3:30 p.m., with a service beginning at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
