Kathleen F. Groh (nee Fallon), age 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 7, 2025. Kathleen was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth R.; loving mother of Robert Alexander "Alex" Groh and Amy G. (Joseph) Chovan; dearest daughter of the late Esther and Robert Fallon; cherished grandmother of Hannah, Logan, Daniel, Kaleb, Chiara, Damian, Samuel and Lucia; dear sister of Barbara "Bobbie" (Ed) Stapleton, Thomas (Donna) Fallon and the late Reverend Father Daniel Fallon; and she was a fond aunt of many.
Kathleen was a devout parishioner of Divine Savior Parish in Downers Grove where she had been active in several ministries.
Visitation will be on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services will be on Tuesday; friends and family are asked to gather at Divine Savior Parish 6700 Main St., Downers Grove for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Naperville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Cumberland Chapels; In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association alz.org would be appreciated.
