Katherine Bevans

Kathy Bevans (nee Stingley) age 78, passed away peacefully at her home on May 19, 2025. Kathy was the loving wife of the late Tom; dear daughter of the late Keith and the late Anna Mae Stingley; dear sister of Sandra (the late Rich) Zewe and Mary Ann (John) Lueth; beloved aunt of Brian Zewe, Raymond (Lindsay) Schuler, Jennifer Wallace, Kimberley (Emil Liebhaber) Schuler and Margie (John) Cossentino, and she was a cherished great aunt to many.

Kathy was a member of the S.O.S. singing group and owner of Kathy's Crafts where she made crocheted items and many other crafts. She was a member of AA, and had been in recovery for 47 years.

Visitation Friday, May 23, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. The funeral will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to St. Mary Church in Des Plaines for Mass at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights.
