Karen E. Marchese

Karen E. Marchese passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on August 28, 2026, at the age of 83.

Karen married her sweetheart, Michele Marchese, on October 13, 1959.  Together, they shared 67 years of marriage, building a beautiful life filled with love, family, and cherished memories.  In the years following their marriage, Karen became the loving and devoted mother of Anthony (Lisa Marchese) Marchese and Karen (Juan Cisneros) Marchese-Cisneros.  Her family was the greatest joy of her life, and she was a cherished grandmother to Jeffrey Cisneros and Tressina (Michael Scalzitti) Cisneros.  Karen was also a treasured great-grandmother to Sophia, John-Anthony, Adriana, and Bentley.  Her love, warmth, and devotion to her family will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.  She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through the generations of her family.  She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 9:30 am until time of Funeral Service at 12:30 pm at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, IL 60706.   Entombment St. Joseph's Mausoleum in River Grove, IL.
