Judith L. McIntyre

Judith Lynn "Judy" McIntyre (nee Grant), age 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 18, 2025. Judy was the beloved wife and best friend of Richard Berk for 28 wonderful years; loving mother of Tracy McIntyre, Melissa McIntyre (John Nader), Margaret (Chad) Reynolds and the late Christine Marie Oleszczak; dear daughter of the late Joan (nee Sterbenz) and the late John Grant; cherished grandmother of Vincenzo Panizzi, Christopher Oleszczak, Irelynne Reynolds, Mia Panizzi and Kyla Reynolds; dearest sister of the late Janice (Larry) Walker, and she was a fond aunt of many.

Judy lived a long life but never got old. Her generous spirit stayed with her until the very end. She had a gift of happiness that was contagious and an infectious smile. In the lives of her children and her grandchildren she played the most special role. Her acts of kindness did not stop with family and friends but rather was granted to everyone who she encountered. She had deeply meaningful and lasting friendships with many. Smart, generous, and compassionate, she was the consummate conversationalist. She loved to garden and it was her priority every spring. She was passionate about reading and read several novels a week and never missed a crossword puzzle. She may be gone from us but she will remain in our hearts forever. Always remember her name.

Visitation Friday, November 21, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to St. Juliana Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. All Services will conclude following mass and the inurnment will be private.
