Judith "Miss Judy" Biala, age 77, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2024. Judy was the beloved daughter of the late Carolyn, nee Jensky, and the late Leon Biala; loving sister of Leon (Marie) Biala, Gerry (Julie) Biala and Denice (Tom) Settepani; cherished aunt of Leon, Jennifer, Kimmy, Chrissy, Katie, Jackie, Danny and Mike, and she was a Great Aunt of many.
Miss Judy was a CCD teacher at Our Lady, Mother of the Church for many years. In addition, Judy was a writer and had a beautiful singing voice. Judy will be remembered Always and All Ways. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mercy Home for Boys and Girls at donate.mercyhome.org would be appreciated.
Visitation Wednesday, May 22, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to Our Lady, Mother of the Church 8747 W. Lawrence Ave., Chicago for Mass at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in River Grove, IL. For more information call (708)456-8300.
