Josephine Roberto, nee Cassano, 49, passed away December 26th after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Loving wife of Michael. Devoted mother of Annamaria and Emma.Beloved daughter of the late Emma nee Giardino and the late Nicola. Daughter in Law of Filippo and Anna Maria Roberto. Dear sister of Frank (Laura), Vito and Dominick Cassano, Rosa Barbanente, Maria (Vito) DiBari, Tony, Angelo and Gino Cassano. Fond aunt and great-aunt to many. Visitation Friday December 28th from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Funeral service Saturday beginning at 8:30 a.m. from the funeral home and proceeding to the Shrine of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Melrose Park for 9:30 am Mass.Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
