Josephine Theresa (Giannola) Robb

Josephine "Josie" Robb, 101, of Norridge, Illinois passed away on June 12,2022 in her daughter's home with her by her side in Parker, Colorado. She was born into the Catholic faith on January 17,1921, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Dominic and Serafina Giannola.

She was the most loving and caring mother, she loved everything Sicilian and Italian. She loved speaking the language any chance she had. dancing, opera -especially Luciano Pavarotti. She enjoyed traveling, walking daily, spending time with her many dear friends, playing 21 with the girls, telling jokes, watching Wheel of Fortune and Judge Judy. She was the best shopper there ever was! She was always dressed impeccably well and had the gift of putting things together.

At 90 years old she went snowmobiling and at 98 danced until 2 am at her granddaughter's wedding

She was over the moon for her family and at 100 was blessed to see her great grandchild born and spend time with her..

Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, George and infant son George, her parents Dominic and Serafina, her brothers Tony, Mario and Joseph Giannola.

Surviving family includes her daughter Sarasue Robb Henderlong (Joseph) and son George Robb, grandchildren, Anthony Henderlong, Angela Henderlong, Annmarie Henderlong Kropp (Corey), George Robb, and Anne Robb; great grandchild Ava Ellison Kropp.

Visitation Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 12:00 noon at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL 60706. A private burial will take place after that for the immediate family.

Family requests no flowers but to remember Josephine in your daily prayers and thoughts, she will be dearly missed.
