Josephine Minasola (nee Scaccio) age 83, born in Chicago on March 15, 1933. Married 63 years to Retired Chicago Police Lieutenant Thomas Sr. Daughter of the late Sam and Katie (nee Biando) Scaccio. Loving mother of Ben (Fran), Annemarie (Keith) Schopp, Marianne (Manny) Meris and the late Tommy Jr. Grandmother of Danielle (Patrick) Gallagly, Nicole Schopp, Brianne, Sydney and Tess Meris and Jovanna and Gianna Minasola. Dear sister of the late Marion (Carmen) Caruso, Joseph and Sam Scaccio. Sister in Law of the late Marge (Vito) Gramuldi, Fortunate (Ivan) Pleasant, Josephine (Ed) Duncan and Joseph (Ann) Minasola. Fond aunt, cousin and friend to many. Visitation Monday from 3:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge. Funeral Tuesday beginning at the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. and will then proceed to St. Eugene Church for 10:00 a.m. Mass. Interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles.
