Josephine Krucek August 10, 1942 – October 29, 2026
Josephine Krucek (née LaRocco), 84, passed away on October 29, 2026. Born August 10, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, she was the only child of Frank and Sadie LaRocco. She was a devoted daughter who lovingly cared for her parents.
Josephine met the love of her life, Gerald “Jerry” Krucek, through her cousin Sal, Jerry’s neighbor and later his business partner. Together they built a family that was her greatest pride and joy, and she celebrated them at every opportunity.
Josephine was tremendously generous with her time, her help, her home, and her heart. Friends and family came to her for advice, which she gave with both compassion and honesty. Her meticulous organization kept everything running like clockwork.
She did so much for so many and became an important part of everyone’s lives. Once you were loved by Josephine, you never had to wonder how much. She will be deeply missed.
Josephine is survived by her husband of 62 years, Gerald “Jerry” Krucek; her children, Pam Gullo, Jeff Krucek, and Michelle (Dan) Belasich; her grandchildren, Frank (Ari) Gullo, Elston Belasich, and Marlowe Belasich; her great-grandson, Leo Gullo; her beloved goddaughter, Laurie Romanazzi; and countless cherished cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Sadie LaRocco, and her goddaughter, JoAnne McCann.
