Josephine P. Jameson (nee Del Ricco), 74, of Carol Stream passed away surrounded by her loved ones on August 30th, 2025.
Josephine was born in Chicago to the late Rose (nee Cecola) and Pasquale ‘Patsy’ Del Ricco. She proudly worked as a nurse for over 50 years. She absolutely enjoyed everything Disney! She loved music and was an active member of the "Noonatics" (Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits) fan club. Her hobbies included shopping; decorating her home for every holiday; and making sure she had colorful flowers throughout the yard. She loved her furry pups Rudy, Minnie, Jameson, and Toby.
Josephine is survived by her children Jennifer Moore and Jeffrey (Ruth Anne) Balgro. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Sidney (Lindsey), Joseph, Lucas, Elijah (Jenna), Jacob, Jace, and Delaney. Josephine was preceded in death by her loving husband and companion of 41 years, Douglas Jameson (father of Jennifer (Dan) Danca, Kim Gade, Rich (June) Jameson).
Memorial Visitation will be September 13, from 12:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 2:30 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave Norridge. Interment will be private. Info: 708-456-8300
