Joseph Wasiukiewicz, age 97, passed away on May 7, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Joseph was the beloved husband of the late Helen Stawicki; loving father of Linda S. (Karl) Cloherty and Michael G. (Ruth) Wasiukiewicz; cherished grandfather of Karl Jr. (Amy), Alan (Dori) and Jason (Lisa) Cloherty and Michael Wasiukiewicz Jr. and Jennifer Garrido; great grandfather of Connor, Mikayla, Faith, Sean, Luke, Kevin, Vivian, Vanessa and Mira; dear brother of the late Rosalie; fond uncle of many. Visitation Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home, and will proceed to St. Priscilla Church for Mass 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery. Info 708-456-8300.
