Joseph T. Serwa, age 88, U.S. Army Vet. Devoted husband of the late Lorraine nee Kobylewski; beloved father of Larry (Jane) Serwa, Michael (Mary) Serwa and Cheryl (Stan) Banas; Loving grandfather of Joseph, Adam, Michael (Courtney) and Samuel Serwa and Lauren and Richard Banas; great grandfather of Jaxon and Ava; dear brother of the late Frank Serwa, the late Genevieve Lopatkiewicz and the late Sophie Daniel; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday May 15th, 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin Monday May 16th, 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home and will proceed to St. Celestine Church, Elmwood Park, for Mass at 11:30 a.m. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Joe retired after 33 years as a carpenter with the William Wrigley, Jr.Co.
