Joseph E. Marzullo, age 81, U.S. Army Veteran, passed away peacefully at his home on April 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Marie Grace (nee Corsini) for fifty-five years. Joseph was the cherished father of Joeyann (Joel) Weitzman and Anthony Marzullo (Caroline – Fiancée), and a proud grandfather to Madelyn Marzullo and Alan Joseph Weitzman. He was also the beloved son of the late Anthony and Josephine Marzullo, and a dear brother-in-law of Andrew (Carol) Corsini, the late Violet and Anthony Lamantia, the late John (Carol) Corsini, the late Gino (Pat) Corsini, and the late Frank (Judy) Corsini, uncle, cousin, and friend to many .Joseph’s career as a commodities trader spanned 35 years, but his dedication to his community was where he truly made an impact. He served as a former Trustee of the Norwood Park Fire Department, an active member of the Norwood Park Township Homeowners Association, and a valued School Board Member for Pennoyer School. Joseph also served as President of the Villas of Arlington HOA and was a member of The Cavilers Organization for Villa Scalabrini. Known for his warmth, leadership, and generosity, Joseph was a man who devoted much of his life to the service of others, both professionally and personally. His presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the many lives he touched throughout his life. Visitation Sunday, April 13 th from 3:00 to 7:30 P.M. at Cumberland Chapels (FRIEL FUNERAL DIRECTORS) 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Funeral Services Begin Monday 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home and will proceed to St. Eugene Church. Funeral Mass 11:00 A.M. The burial will take place, with Military Honors at the St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove.
