Joseph Lampugnano, age 95, United States Army Veteran, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2022, surrounded by his family. Joseph was the beloved husband of the late Susie "Assunta" nee Giagnorio; loving father of Vito (Linda), Matthew (Mary) and Joseph (Anne) Lampugnano; beloved son of the late Vita and Vito Lampugnano; fond grandfather of Francesca, Melissa, Joseph (Niratcha), Katy, Matthew (Sarah), and Concetta (William); great grandfather of Madison, Gabriel, Jayden, Nakin, Nathan, Reagan, Logan, Aubrey Mae and Luke Joseph; dear brother of Mary (the late John) Lucente, Mena (the late Frank) Fiore and the late Angie (the late Tony) Tangorra, the late Lucy (the late Nick) Tangorra, the late Phillip (the late Molly) Lampugnano and the late Yolanda Gregory; fond uncle of many. Visitation Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home, and will proceed to St. Monica Church in Chicago for Mass at 10:00 a.m. The entombment will follow at St. Joseph Mausoleum in River Grove.
