Joseph J. Guzolek, age 71, at rest suddenly on February 3, 2022. Beloved husband of Linda (nee Berardi) Loving father of. Joseph (Jeannine) and Michael (Tracie). Cherished grandfather of Brianna, Nicholas, Gracie and Joey. Dear brother of Leona (Bill) Cantwell, Cindy Guzolek and Cheryl (Luigi) Adamo. Dear brother-in-law of James Berardi and Mary Jo (Johnny) Mielnik and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Joseph was a retired Detective with the Chicago Police Department and dear friend of many brothers in blue and proud partner of Ronald Yawger. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 3:00 until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. Interment will follow at Irving Park Cemetery in Chicago.
