Joseph J. DiNovo, age 93, United States Army Veteran of World War II, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2021. Joseph was the beloved husband of the late Marion, nee Gallichio; dearest son of the late Mary, nee LaCavera and the late Anthony DiNovo and beloved step-son of the late Tom Coles; dear brother of Prudy (the late Col. Anthony James) Martino and RoseMarie (William Lee) Jones; cherished uncle of 20, great uncle of 47 and great great uncle of 42; fond cousin, neighbor and friend of many and proud WWII veteran, avid Chicago sports fan and a man with a heart of gold! Memorial Visitation Saturday, April 24, 2021, from 12:00 noon until the time of a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. The interment will be private at St. Joseph Cemetery. Due to the current health guidelines, visitations at Cumberland Chapels are limited to 50 attendees at a time. Please wear masks and practice proper social distancing. Until further notice, the coffee room is not available for use. Please refrain from bringing food or beverage into the funeral home.
