Joseph D’Amico, 81, passed away peacefully at his home on June 19, 2022. Born in Castel San Vincenzo, Italy, to the late Costantino D’Amico and Elisa nee Cozzone. Beloved husband of Marianne nee Conte for 57 wonderful years. Loving father of Elisa (Guy) Maloberti, Francine D’Amico (Steve Barta). Cherished grandfather of Claudia, Nicholas, Marco, Marcella. Dear brother of the late Ernesto (Regina) D’Amico, the late Elio (the late Carmen) D’Amico. Brother-in-law of John (the late Rosemary) Conte, the late Josie (Mario) Sarullo, Francis (Gaetano) Cinardi. Fond uncle of many. Joseph enjoyed gardening and sharing plants with family and friends. He was a passionate player and supporter of bocce. Proud member and supporter of St. Stephen and St. Vincent Society, Molisani/Santo Stefano Club, Comboni Missionaries, Mazzini Verdi Club (honored as 2014 Man-of-the-Year), Luchese del Mondo, Italian American Executives of Transportation and Casa Italia. Memorial Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL. Memorial Mass Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Casa Italia Chapels at 9:30am, 1621 N. 39th Ave. Stone Park. The interment will be private at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
