Joseph Cicero

Joseph Vincent Cicero, age 92, U.S. Army Veteran, passed away peacefully at his home of 72 years on May 14, 2022. Joseph is the loving father of Joseph John (Christine) and Anthony Frank Cicero; dearest son of the late Mamie and Frank Cicero; cherished grandfather of Joseph D. (Jennifer), Pamela M. and Robert V. Cicero and Andrew Hayes; Dear brother of Rose Marie (Louis) Bosco, the late Frank (the late Bebe), the late Mary Margaret, the late Robert (the late Donna) and the late James (Judy) Cicero. Joseph was the former husband of the late Phyllis and a longtime companion to the late Mary Hayes, and a fond uncle of many. He was a lifetime member of the Machinery Movers and Riggers Local #136 in Chicago, and he was an avid fisherman and sports enthusiast who rooted especially hard for the Bears and the Fighting Irish! Visitation Monday, May 23, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home, and we will proceed for interment with military honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
