Joseph Cernick

Joseph L. Cernick, age 77, passed away peacefully on Christmas Day 2020. Joseph was the beloved husband of Annie Rose, nee McCannon, for 44 wonderful years; loving stepfather of Lisa (Todd) McGaha, Lori Lynn Tuggle, Cindy (Michael) Hill and Matthew Tuggle; dearest son of the late Wanda and Joseph Cernick; cherished grandfather of Brittany (Jan) Collins, Nicole (Tommy) Hemsey and Mary Catherine Tuggle; great grandfather of McKenna Hemsey; brother of Gerald (Sonia) and Sue Cernick, and a fond uncle of many. He was the kind master of his dogs Marty and the late Frosty. Joe was a proud member of Divine Savior Catholic Church in Norridge, where he sang in the Choir, and was a cantor and Eucharistic minister. Visitation Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until Mass 11:00 a.m. at Divine Savior Church 7740 W. Montrose Ave., Norridge, IL.
