Joseph Capriati

Joseph "Joe" "Pino" Capriati, age 84, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. Joe was the dear companion of Joann Menconi; beloved husband of the late Anna, nee Sisto; loving father of Vito (Johnna) Capriati, Gina Iori and Tony Capriati; dearest son of the late Regina and Vito Capriati; cherished grandfather of Sofia and Anthony Iori; dear brother of Mimma Lamberto, Enzo Capriati and the late Onofrio and Nicolo Capriati and Clara Ioele. Joe was a fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was born in Mola di Bari, Italy, was a member of the Mezzini Verdi Club in Franklin Park where he loved to play Bocce Ball and occasionally exhibit his advanced dancing skills.. Visitation Thursday, June 18, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with funeral service at 6:30 p.m., at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. The entombment will be held at 11:30 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum in Hillside, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to: Rainbow Hospice or the American Cancer Society would be appreciated. Due to the current health guidelines we are limited to 50 attendees at a time. Your health and safety is the family’s priority and you have their full understanding if you cannot attend the visitation.
