Josef Protyniak, age 98. Beloved husband of Kataryna Protyniak nee Baluch; loving father of Orysia (Andrew) Atanowsky and Daria (Pat) Harrison; fond grandfather of Christina Brown and Andrew Kusznir; great grandfather of Ava and Ella. Visitation Sunday December 15, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. with a Panachyda at 5:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, IL 60706. Funeral services begin Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home and will proceed to Saint Joseph Ukrainian Catholic Church for a 10:30 a.m. Mass. Interment will follow at Saint Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Ukrainian Heroes Fund at St. Joseph Church would be greatly appreciated.
