José C. Sazo, 89, passed away August 28, 2020. Devoted husband of the late Fabiana Sazo. Loving father of Oscar (Lucia) Sazo, Anabella (Patrick) Allen, Lilian (Roger) Townsend, Elvia, Cipriano, René, Nora, the late Rafael, and the late Rosa Beloved grandfather of Valeria, Adriana, Amanda, Ryan, Brendon, Zoe and the late Samantha. Loving son of the late Rafael and Hortencia Sazo. Dear brother and fond uncle of many. Visitation will be Monday, August 31, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Funeral service will begin on Tuesday, at the funeral home, then proceed to Immaculate Conception Church, Chicago, for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. Due to the current health guidelines, we are limited to 50 attendees at a time. We kindly ask that you quickly exit the funeral home after paying your respects to the family so that all visitors have an opportunity to enter. Please wear masks and practice proper social distancing. Until further notice, the coffee room is not available for use. Please refrain from bringing food or beverages into the funeral home.
