John Thas, age 90, U.S. Navy WWII, passed away on July 29, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. John was the beloved husband of the late Evangeline, nee Coite; loving father of Wayne J. (Carolyn) and Deborah A. Thas; cherished grandfather of Adam (Alison) and Jordan (Rebecca) Thas and Sarah (Matthew) Knoop; great grandfather of Emma, Grace, Owen, Beckett, Beatrice, Andrew and Hannah. John was preceded in death by 1 brother and 2 sisters, and he was a fond uncle of many.
