John H. Ortmann, age 92. World War II veteran and life member of Park Ridge VFW Post 3579. Beloved husband of Dolores I. Jarosz-Ortmann nee Gora and the late Dorothy Louise nee Enders; loving father of Steven John (Susan), Gary James (Margaret) and the late David. Beloved son of the late John and Linda Ortmann nee Rosenstiel; fond grandfather of Eric, Amy, Allison, Mark, Katie, Carly, and Jamie; great grandfather of Zoey and Daniel; dear brother of the late Gladys Duda; fond uncle of Patricia, Kevin, Kathy, and Jim Keller. Beloved “Papa John” to eight step-sons and the entire Jarosz family. Visitation will be Saturday October 1, 2016 at Central Baptist Village 4747 N. Canfield Ave. Norridge, IL from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. followed by a visitation at Cumberland Chapels funeral home from 11:30 a.m. until time of service at 2:30 p.m. Interment is private.
