Passed away peacefully on 1/2/2025 surrounded by his family.

John worked for Dominick's as a butcher for 39 years . He was an avid bowler and golfer. John loved to help others and could try and build anything with his creative mind. Throughout his life, he was always there to help his family and friends. He was loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather. John was preceded in death by his parents Stanisilaw and Irena. Brothers Henry and Vince, Sister Barbara , Mother in Law Helen Rafacz. John leaves behind his loving wife Patricia (Rafacz), His son Michael (Brandie) Mochocki, Melissa (Troy) Ortega, and Michelle Campisi. His Grandchildren Isabella, Giovanni, Zakary,Giuseppe,Chyanne,Giuliana, Ethan, Gianlucas,Theodore. Siblings Harriet, Jimmy,George and Richard. Brother-in-law to Sheila Benjamin.

John fought a long battle with cancer for 14 years.

In lieu of flowers the family would like you to donate to cancer research.

Memorial Visitation for John will take place on Friday, January 10, 2025 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a service at 7:30 pm at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. Interment will be private.
