John McGuane, age 70 at rest, native of Kinturk, Connolly, Co. Clare, Ireland. Beloved Husband of Grace, nee Bonner, for 40 years; Devoted father of Michael (Violet) McGuane, Eileen (Dennis) Sladky, Bernadette (Patrick) Noone and the late Theresa (Matthew) Link. Cherished son of the late Michael and Susan McGuane; Proud grandfather of 10, Grace, Lily and Owen McGuane, Ryan, Jack, Theresa and Sean Sladky, Hailey Link, Kathleen and Sara Noone. Dear brother of the late Martin (Breege), Mary (Pat) Moriarty, Peter (Noreen), Brendan (Vera), Sr. Theresa of the Mercy Order. Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews in Ireland and the U.S. Cherished and loyal friend to many. Member of Operating Engineers, Local 399 Retired Loyola University Medical Center employee of 30 years. Visitation Monday Jan. 26 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Funeral Tuesday 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home and will then proceed to St. Eugene Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
