John Larkin

John Francis Larkin, 76, passed away on July 16th after a brief illness.Beloved son of the late Walter D. and Helen Purcell Larkin. Step-son of the late Mary Brennan Larkin. Brother of Richard Larkin (Mary), Winnetka.Loving father of Anne Tuomey (Hugh), Wellesley, MA; Dorothy Carroll, Chicago, IL; John Larkin (Stacey), Long Beach, IN; Michael Larkin (Francie), Evanston, IL; and the late Stephen Larkin. Previously married to Karen Larkin Johnson. Devoted grandfather of thirteen grandchildren and uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. John graduated from Northwestern University and was passionate about the Wildcats, the Chicago Cubs, Frank Sinatra, and golf, but most of all, his family. Visitation Wednesday July 25th from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church, 9th and Linden Ave., Wilmette IL.
