John Johnson, age 67, passed away peacefully, with his family at his side, on March 29, 2023. John's spirit will forever remain with Rose, nee Gorman, his wife of 44 amazing years; loving father of his favorite daughter Julia (Brian) Kolling, his favorite daughter Jill (James Medina) and his favorite son Jason Johnson; dearest son of the late Allene and Mylas Johnson; cherished grandfather of "his guy" Lucas and "his girl" Jacklyn; dear brother of James (Susan) Johnson, Juanita (Ray) Basica and the late Jerry Johnson. John was a charming brother in-law and a witty uncle of many. He was a metal polisher by trade and a golfer at heart! Visitation Sunday, April 2, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL.

Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to St. Francis Borgia Church for Mass at 10:30 a.m.

The interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles.
