John C. "Jack Fitz" Fitzpatrick, Age 84 passed away peacefully on Jan 16, 2025. The beloved son of the late Catherine and Francis, loving brother of the late Frank. Dearest Uncle to Cathy, Susan, and Michelle and proud Godfather of 5. The owner of a successful business-L.G. Evans. Jack loved deeply and unconditionally and was in turn beloved by countless friends and family.
Jack was happiest spending time with the people he cared about over a good meal (specifically Sea Bass) with a cold MGD or a glass of red wine. He enjoyed fishing, and boating. He was an avid golfer who shot 3 holes in one. Jack was proud to be a Shamrock (St. Patrick High School Class of 1958). In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in his name to St Pats at www.stpatrick.org or call (773)282-8844.
Visitation Friday, January 24, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to St. Eugene Church in Chicago for Mass at 10:30 a.m. All services will conclude following mass and the interment will be private.
