John Edward Corcoran Jr., 69, retired Chicago Police Detective, passed away surrounded by family on December 10, 2017. Beloved husband to Gloria (retired CPD); Loving father to John (Gina) Corcoran III; grandfather to Jonas, Jules, and Jolene; uncle to Mark DiBenedetto. He is preceded in death by father, John Edward Corcoran Sr. (retired CPD); mother, Louise (nee Gorsuch).A memorial service will be held Saturday January 13, 2018 at Unity Chicago Church - 1925 W. Thome Ave., Chicago, IL 60660 at 11:00 am. A reception will follow. All are welcome to attend to celebrate John’s life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation
