John Calefati

John Calefati, age 85, passed away on August 24, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. John was the beloved husband of Geraldine, nee Ferrazzuolo; loving father of Salvatore, Anthony (Jennifer) and Francesca (Kamen Grigorov) Calefati; dearest son of the late Francesca, nee Converso, and the late Nicola Calefati; cherished grandfather of David and Giavanna Schwager, Anthony, Nicholas and Mario Calefati; he was a fond brother and uncle of many. Visitation Tuesday, August 27, 2019, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to St. Eugene Church in Chicago for a Mass at 10:30 a.m. The Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum in Des Plaines.
