Joe Columbia, Age 90. Beloved husband of Francesca nee Baratta. Loving father of Mario (Annette), Kathy (Angelo) Lombardo and Vince (Viriana) Columbia. Adored son of the late Mariano and the late Caterina (nee Battaglia) Columbia. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer Columbia, Joe (Emily) Columbia, Tina (Paul) Vivacqua, Anthony and Rosario Lombardo, Massimo, Matteo and Milena Columbia. Great grandfather of Liam, Francesca and Luca. Dear brother of Ross, and the late Santina, Giuseppina and Frank. Fond uncle of many. He is also survived by his sisters and brothers in laws. Visitation Tuesday Sept 29 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Funeral Wednesday 8:30 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Philip the Apostle Church in Addison for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Entombment Crucifixion Garden Mausoleum, St Joseph Cemetery. Due to the current health guidelines, we are limited to 50 attendees at a time. We kindly ask that you quickly exit the funeral home after paying your respects to the family so that all visitors have an opportunity to enter. Masks and proper social distancing required. The coffee lounge is not available for use, so please refrain from bringing food or beverage into the funeral home.
