Joanne Drechney, 82, passed way August 5, 2021. Beloved wife of Daniel for 60 wonderful years. Loving mother of Rose (Bill) Molepske, Paul Drechney, and Christine (Jeffrey) Rio. Cherished grandmother of Kyle Molepske, Jenna Rio, Jessica Rio. Dear sister of Joseph (Ellen) Obirek, and Mary Ann (the late David) Yoshinari. Fond aunt of Jodi Obirek, Jeffrey (Natalia) Obirek, Holly Yoshinari, and Julie (Terry) Boyko, and great aunt to many. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 10, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Family and friends are invited to meet at St. Eugene Church on Thursday, for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. PLEASE NOTE the Funeral Mass is Thursday, August 12th. Those wishing to attend the interment are invited to meet at Maryhill Cemetery Chapel at 11:15. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rainbow Hospice, 1550 Bishop Ct, Mt. Prospect, IL 60056.
