Joanna E. Bischof, 86, at rest August 4, 2024. Beloved wife of Albert for 57 wonderful years. Loving mother of Patrice (James) Cortese, Albert Bischof Jr., and Victor Bischof. Cherished grandmother of Michael (Stephanie) Cortese, David Cortese, Melissa Cortese, Mary Ann Cortese, Thomas, Cody, Eric, and Leigha. Great grandmother of Max and Leo Cortese. Dear sister of Camille Miller. Fond aunt of many. Joanna started her career in education as a physical education teacher and athletic director at Resurrection High School, later becoming Dean of Students. Later in life she worked in the Administration Offices of the Archdiocese of Chicago, and for many years worked at St. Eugene Catholic Church in the church office. Visitation will be Thursday, August 8

, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Visitation will also be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Eugene Catholic Church until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. Info: 708-456-8300
