Joan M Schwartz

Joan M. Schwartz, age 83, passed away July 21, 2026. Joan was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 20,1943 to the late Frank and the late Catherine (née Bambula). She was the beloved wife of the late Jim Schwartz with whom she shared 25 years of marriage and dedicated devotion.

Joan is survived by her loving daughter Cyndi (Mark) Mirczuk. She was the proud grandmother of Amanda and Allison. Joan was the beloved sister of Barbara (the late Bill) Brinlee, and was the cherished sister of the late Don (Marilyn) Bambula.

Joan was the fond aunt of many nieces and nephews, a dear cousin, and a friend to many.

Visitation for Joan will take place on Sunday, August 2, 2026 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Cumberland Chapels at 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Illinois. The funeral will take place the following day, beginning at the funeral home at 10:00 AM and then proceed to Mary, Undoer of Knots Parish at St. Robert Bellarmine Church for 11:00 AM Mass. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, Illinois.
