Joan Polsinelli, age 101, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026. Joan was the loving wife of the late T. Charles Polsinelli for 50 wonderful years; beloved sister of the late Lawrence J. Mente; dear daughter of the late Lawrence Mente and the late Katherine Mente; cherished aunt of Andrew, Kate, Philip (Amy), Suzanne, Sarah, and Julie.
Joan was a devoted teacher of deaf students for Chicago Public Schools. Followed by many years at the Chicago Hearing Society. She was a world traveler and award winning photographer.
All services will be private.
