In Loving Memory of the Honorable Joan M. Pucillo (née Aquino)
June 11, 1941 – October 15, 2025
With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of the Honorable Joan M. Pucillo, age 84 — a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and esteemed judge — who departed this life on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
Joan’s legacy lives on through her devoted children: Theresa M. (Jeffrey) Randerson, Rocco R. (Ariel) Pucillo, Gianna M. (Jonny) Molfese, and Robert J. (Leticia) Pucillo. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Alexander Randerson, Gabriella Randerson, Fiamma Pucillo, Siena Pucillo, Lilavati Gurian, Talia Molfese, Robert J. Pucillo Jr., Anthony R. Pucillo, and Desarae (Austin) Grossich. She also leaves behind her dear sister, Mary Ann (the late Sidney James) Wilson.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Rocco John and Mary Magdalena Aquino; her brothers, Gerald (Nita) Aquino and Donald F. (Janice) Aquino; and her daughter-in-law, Alexandra Kalyviaris-Pucillo.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Cumberland Chapels in Norridge, IL, on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and again on Monday, October 20, at 10:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass celebrating Joan’s life and legacy will be held at All Saints Polish National Cathedral in Chicago on Monday at 11:00 a.m., followed by entombment at St. Joseph Mausoleum in River Grove.
As we mourn Joan’s passing, we also celebrate a life marked by compassion, resilience, and grace. Her love of reading, travel, and art enriched those around her, and her unwavering devotion to family and generous spirit will be remembered always.
