Jim Klafeta, age 70, peacfully exited life's highway March 3, 2013. Loving husband of Carol, nee Neuhold, for 47 years. Proudest father of Jennifer, Mark (Ameri) and Karen. Adoring grandpa of Owen. Fond cousin of Lee (Mary) Mika and Paul Mika. Best man and longtime friend to Ken and Mary Jaros. Missed by his furry friend of 10 years Bella. Son of the late George and the late Esther, nee Bango. Brother of the late Charles. Jim was a retired Civil Engineer at IDOT and TENG Engineering, an active member of St. Beatrice Parish, a friend of many and an all around good guy. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Beatrice St. Vincent de Paul Society. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence ave., Norridge. Funeral services will begin Wednesday 9:00a.m. at the funeral home and proceed to St. Beatrice Church for Mass 10:00a.m. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
