Rev. Jerome P. Twarog, Age 60, former US Air Force Chaplain and current Parochial Vicar at St. Eugene Church in Chicago. Born in Chicago on October 4, 1952 and passed away suddenly June 28, 2013 in Chicago. Fr. Jerry was ordained for the Congregation of the Resurrection on April 17, 1982. He served at St. John Vianney in Northlake, St. Pascal in Chicago, St. John Cantius in Chicago, St. Peter in Skokie and also taught at Weber High School. He was incardinated into the Archdiocese of Chicago on June 27, 2007 and then served as Parochial Vicar at St. Mary’s in Lake Forest and then to St. Eugene Church in July 2008. Beloved son of the late Joseph and Michaline nee Gawron. Loving brother of Teri (John) Scheckel. Cherished uncle of Kelly (Michael) Rotella and Connie (Adam) Thweatt. Devoted great uncle of Dominic, Brian and Jack Rotella and Marty Thweatt. Dear cousin and friend of many. Lying in State Tuesday July 2nd from 3 to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at St. Eugene Church, 7958 W. Foster Ave., Chicago. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Eugene Church. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Food for the Poor, P.O.
