Jenny Irizarry

Jenny Irizarry, beloved wife, mother,  daughter,  sister, and friend, born on April 8th, 1965, in Chicago, Illinois,  passed away April 24th, 2024, in Orlando, Florida.



Jenny is survived by her devoted husband Javier Irizarry, her cherished sons, Jovany Javier Irizarry, and Jeremy Irizarry, her loving parents Sonia and Victor De Leon, and her siblings, Derrick Hernandez (Maryanna),  Harry Hernandez (Danielle), Charline De Leon (Randall), Sally De Leon, Lisette De Leon, Nancy De Leon and she was preceded in death by Barbara De Leon, and was a beloved daughter in-law of Maria Antonia and the late Eugenio, and sister in law of Hector Irizarry (Mari), Luis Irizarry (Nicola), Felix Irizarry (Maribel), Maribel Irizarry (Ray), Ivelisse Irizarry and Migdalia Cajigas (Pete).



She was adored by her extended Irizarry family, aunts, uncles, cousins, godchildren, nieces, newphews, and friends.



Jenny was known for her impeccable sense of fashion, her infectious laughter, unwavering strength,  boundless kindness, and overwhelming generosity.  She left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Jenny had a passion for warm weather, often found basking in the sunshine at the beach, surrounded by her family whom she cherished above all else.



Jenny's presence illuminated the lives of all those around her, and her memory will forever be treasured in the hearts of her family and friends.



In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.



Visitation will be Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge.  Funeral  Wednesday, friends and family are asked to gather at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. for the funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery.
