Jennifer Jane Rieman (née Boris), age 53, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on December 17, 2025.
Jenny was the beloved wife of Richard “Rick” Rieman for 27 wonderful years and the loving mother of Brennan, Kendall, and Connor Rieman. She was the cherished daughter of Robert and the late Constance Ann (née DeBlois) Boris; the dearest sister of Kathlene Garber and Robert (Rachael) Boris; and a devoted sister‑in‑law to William (Lang), Robert (Cheryl) Rieman, Lynne (Jeff) Herr, and the late Laura (Ron) Godfryd.
Jenny was a treasured cousin to Betsy, Ryan, Garrett, Nicole, Jillian, Debbie, Ron, Hillary, Brenda, Amy, Lisa, and John, and a beloved niece of Richard (Barbara) Boris, John (Colleen) Cuntz, Loretta Boris, Donna (Jeff) Felts, the late David (Valerie) DeBlois, and the late Jim (Renata) Deblois. She was a loving aunt to many, each of whom she held close to her heart.
Born and raised in Norwood Park (Chicago), Jenny graduated from Luther North High School before attending Bradley University, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. It was at Bradley that she met Rick, and the two were married in 1998.
While raising her three children in Norwood Park, Jenny poured her energy into both her family and her personal passions. A dedicated athlete, she completed five triathlons, three marathons, and even a half‑Ironman, embodying determination, spirit, and grit. Later in life, she found fulfillment in her career as a Benefits Analyst with Central States Pension Fund, where she worked for more than a decade.
Above all, Jenny was happiest when cheering on her children. Whether it was basketball, baseball, soccer, or — in later years — Cornhole/Bags, she was always the loudest, proudest, and most enthusiastic supporter on the sidelines.
She loved to travel, plan adventures, and bring people together. Jenny rarely met a person she didn’t like, and she had a gift for making everyone feel welcome. Her warmth, humor, and generous spirit made her the heart of every gathering.
