Jeffery Hale

Jeffery A. Hale, age 63, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026. Jeff was born on June 9, 1962 to the late Alonzo and the late Carole Hale. Beloved husband of Laura (nee Sheridan) Hale for 31 wonderful years. Loving father of Ryan Hale and Michael Hale. Cherished son-in-law of Edward and Carol Sheridan.

Jeff worked for many years with United Airlines as a ramp serviceman, where he formed many lasting friendships throughout his career. He was an avid Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan who rarely missed a game and enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams with family and friends. Jeff also loved spending time on the golf course and was an enthusiastic bowler.

Known for his quick wit and wonderful sense of humor, Jeff was a true jokester who could make anyone laugh and brighten every room he entered. He enjoyed traveling and made cherished memories during his trips to Germany for Oktoberfest. During the winter months, Jeff especially loved downhill skiing in Colorado, where he found joy in the mountains and the outdoors. Jeff also loved his Disney cruise trips and loved the thrill of rollercoaster rides.

Above all, Jeff will be remembered for his loving heart, his laughter, and the countless memories he created with those he loved. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial visitation for Jeff will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026 from 10:00 am until time of Mass of the Resurrection at 11:00 am at St. Monica Church 5136 N Nottingham Ave, Chicago, IL 60656. Interment will be private at a later date.
