James D. Rowan

James “Jim” D. Rowan, age 68, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025. Beloved husband of Catherine Rowan, devoted father of Nathan (Lisa) Rowan, Melanie (Nathan) Landers, Matthew (Carolina) Rowan, and the late Austin Rowan.

Cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Emily, Brandon, Aiden, Samantha, Isabella, Ethan, and Riley. Dear son of the late Norman and the late Lenora Rowan. Loving brother of Nina (Ken) Bevan, Norma (the late Herb) Weinthaler, and the late John (Maureen) Rowan and Jeff Rowan. Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Jim will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and the love he shared with family and friends. His presence brought joy to those who knew him, and his legacy will live on through the many lives he touched.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 6:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, Illinois. Interment will be private.
