James Rempas

James (Demetrios) P. Rempas, Age 77. Beloved Husband of Wendy nee Dunkle. Loving Father of Laura (Frank) Rosa, Stephanie (Michael Eul) Rempas and James B. Rempas. Cherished Grandfather of Brandon, Chloe and Nicholas Eul. Dear Brother of the late Lee Rempas. Fond Uncle of Perry, Corrine, Peter and Jessica. James was born in Tripoli, Greece and migrated to Chicago in the late 1950’s and met his loving wife on the dance floor of the Aragon Ballroom. Jim was a kind hearted caring soul who was always there to help those in need. He would always say, “Don’t worry, I’ll take care it.” Our father battled lung cancer but gave it a long and strong battle. Like our father said, “I’m strong like Bull.” He was the kindest and most generous man on earth and would do anything for his family and friends. We will never recover from losing our rock, but we told our father we will see him again soon. He will be missed. May his memory be eternal, God Bless his soul. Visitation Wednesday June 28 from 3 to 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Funeral Thursday, Friends and family to meet at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 2350 E.
