James Prebis

James J. Prebis, Sr., 71; Devoted husband of Carol nee Augustine for 49 years; Cherished father of James J. Prebis, Jr. and Laura Buske; Loving grandfather of Steven, Matthew and Kyle; Beloved son of the late Kathryn and the late Felix Prebis; Brother of Kathleen. Jim was the anchor that held his family together and will be greatly missed. He was a member of Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity and an employee of Jewel Food Stores for 35 years. Memorial Visitation Monday May 1st from 3:00 p.m. until time of prayer service at 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge.
