James Pawlowski

James Patrick "Jim" Pawlowski, age 66, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2022. Jim is the beloved husband of Colleen M., nee Huitink, for 39 wonderful years; dearest son of the late Terese and Dr. Bernard Pawlowski; dear brother of Marian (Michael) Malek, Dr. Thomas (Maryjo) and Dr. Bernard (Sue) Pawlowski; brother in law of Dr. Geraldine Huitink, Virginia (the late Steven) Valerugo, Gerard (Kristen) and Thomas (Cynthia) Huitink and fond uncle of many. Jim was employed with the Chicago Transit Authority for over 25 years, and he was an avid fisherman. Visitation Monday, September 26, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to Queen of All Saints Basilica in Chicago for Mass at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in River Grove.
