James Orlowski

On Monday, December 24th, 2018, James A. Orlowski, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully at the age of 64. Jim was born December 27th, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois to Henry and Marilyn (Rinehart) Orlowski. On October 8th, 1976, he married the love of his life, Eileen (Erickson) and raised four children. He loved spending as much time with his eight grandchildren as he could. He was known for his sense of humor, wit and his kind and compassionate spirit. He was a man of few words but a wealth of knowledge when it came to fixing and building just about anything. Jim was a devoted father, husband, grandfather and friend to all. He was humble and kind. He is survived by his Mother, Marilyn, Wife, Eileen; Daughters, Laura (Rob) Stueber-Varada, Jen (Jeff) Orlowski-Adriano and Kim Orlowski; Son, Kevin (Jenny) Orlowski; Grandchildren, Nick (Chelsea) Cerone, Brianna Merner, Alyssa Varada, Mikaela Salgado, Frank Varada, Savannah Adriano, Brooke & Brinley Orlowski; Brother, Bob (Carol) Orlowski; Sister, Connie (Jim) Merritt and many more loving extended family. His celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 5th, 2019 from 1:00-4:00pm at Cumberland Funeral Chapels located at 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, IL 60706.
