James Homan

James "Jim" Homan, age 75, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026. Jim was the loving father of Michael, Jason and Jamie Homan; dear son of the late Helen and Gustuv Homan; cherished grandfather of A.J. Homan; dear brother of the late Bill (Maryann) Homan, the late Margie (Gino) Sparacino and the late Bob (the late Mary Lou) Homan. He will be dearly missed by his former wife, and mother of his children Gerry (Paoletti), and he was a fond uncle of many.

Jim was a dedicated lineman for Illinois Bell, Ameritech, and AT&T for many years. He took great pride in his work and the service he provided throughout his career.

Visitation Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until an 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. The entombment will be private. For more information call (708)456-8300.
